Clayface covers 45 countries with 2,964,595 views and a 12.5 average rank. Other Mommy reaches 33 countries, 7,777,210 views and a 13.5 average. One wins geography, the other volume. This comparison shows why a view counter alone cannot measure a worldwide trend.
01Clayface | Official Trailer
DC
DC’s trailer reaches almost two thirds of the countries tracked. That reach is surprising for a character without Batman’s independent cultural status. The video must therefore work as an origin, presenting a disintegrating body and making the tragedy of an unstable face immediately readable. Its 12.5 average confirms distribution is not superficial. Clayface is not lingering near the bottom of 45 lists. It occupies a visible position. The 2.9 million views look small only because YouTube encourages us to confuse size with circulation quality. The campaign wins through differentiation. It promises body horror inside a superhero catalog, familiar enough to attract and strange enough to distinguish itself. The logo opens the door, while the shifting material remains in memory.
02Other Mommy | Official Trailer
Universal Pictures
With nearly 7.8 million views, Other Mommy gathers more than two and a half times Clayface’s volume. Presence in 33 countries remains excellent, but indicates a more concentrated audience. Certain markets watch heavily, while Clayface spreads more widely. Universal uses a fear that translates easily: the maternal figure turned threatening. No prior universe is required and no character name must be learned. That low entry cost speeds understanding and makes the thumbnail effective. A 13.5 average, only one point behind DC, proves the trailer does not sacrifice visibility. It therefore wins the intensity contest. If the goal is rapidly producing a large view total, Other Mommy dominates. If the goal is establishing conversation across the widest range of markets, it gives up first place.
Clayface wins the worldwide contest through twelve additional countries and an average rank one point stronger. Other Mommy wins views by a wide margin, revealing greater concentration inside its markets. That difference matters for studios. Wide geography builds awareness for a character expected to support a franchise, while concentrated volume can sell a self-contained horror premise efficiently. Our creative choice is Clayface because its imagery takes the larger risk, but the numbers award two genuinely different victories. One trailer turns unfamiliar intellectual property into a worldwide subject. The other turns a simple domestic fear into heavy viewing. The best campaign is not merely watched by many people. Distant audiences must also place it high at the same moment, and the intended film must benefit from that particular shape of attention.
