EA SPORTS FC
By the TrendTube editorial team, using YouTube Data API snapshots. Our methodology
Two videos sit two countries apart at the top of the global ranking. The EA Sports FC 27 trailer appears in 64 countries, JENNIE’s Less than a Lover video in 62. Everything else separates them: the first has 3,603,055 views and a 7.6 average rank, the second 5,333,411 views and a 13.2 average. Comparing them means comparing an inherited audience with a conquered one.
01EA SPORTS FC 27 | Official Reveal Trailer
EA SPORTS FC
Two minutes thirty-six, a release date, a logo recognised everywhere: EA’s video is not trying to seduce anyone, it is informing them. Its 64 countries are the record for this snapshot, and the 7.6 average rank shows a high entry almost everywhere. That result owes a great deal to an audience that does not need convincing. Football is already installed in each of those markets, and the annual announcement works as an appointment. In France the video ranks second nationally behind a local music video, which suggests genuine interest rather than an algorithmic push. The limit shows up in the counter. 3,603,055 views is modest for a brand this size, because a sports-game trailer teaches viewers very little: it confirms an expected return. You watch it once and you do not share it.
02JENNIE - Less than a Lover (Official Video)
JennieRubyJaneVEVO
Posted on 24 July, one day after EA’s video, Less than a Lover already totals 5,333,411 views across 62 countries. Its 13.2 average rank is lower, meaning the video enters more modestly and then climbs market by market. Its distribution is the real story. Korea places it first, India and France fourth, Japan tenth, Brazil seventh. None of those musical cultures resemble each other, yet the same track settles into all of them within days. JENNIE’s solo career explains the behaviour. She is identified outside her group, she sings partly in English, and her visual style reads without translation. The video therefore works as a standalone export product rather than as promotion for a future event.
The duel has no single winner because the two videos are not chasing the same result. EA Sports is selling a dated product at a fixed price to an audience that buys the same game every year: coverage matters, intensity does not. JENNIE is selling artistic presence whose financial return arrives later through streaming, touring and brand value, which requires depth rather than surface. The most revealing detail is the average rank. A video entering at position seven across 64 countries was pushed by a commercial calendar. A video entering at position thirteen across 62 countries was found by viewers, often the day after upload. Over time the second trajectory is the harder one to buy, and probably the more valuable one to own.
