Data Collected

If you create an account or sign in with Google, we store your email address and, if provided, your name. No other personal information is collected.

Authentication

Passwords are hashed with bcrypt before storage. Refresh tokens are SHA-256 hashed in the database and expire after 7 days. Access tokens expire after 15 minutes.

Google Sign-in

If you use "Continue with Google", we only receive your email and name via OAuth2. We do not request any access to your YouTube account, videos, or history.

Video Content

Video data (titles, thumbnails, statistics) comes from the public YouTube Data v3 API. TrendTube does not host, store, or reproduce any videos.

Advertising

TrendTube uses Google AdSense to display ads. Google may use cookies to personalize ads based on your previous visits to this and other sites. You can disable ad personalization in Google settings.

Cookies

We use local storage (localStorage) to maintain your login session. No third-party tracking cookies are used directly by TrendTube. Google AdSense may set its own cookies in accordance with its privacy policy.

Your Rights

You can delete your account at any time by contacting us. All your personal data will be deleted within 30 days.
