Two national charts, the same platform, the same ranking method, 25 days of daily measurement. Bulgaria replaced an average of 14 per cent of its top 50 each night between 26 July and 19 August 2026. Brazil replaced 88 per cent. These are not two readings of the same distribution: they are the extreme ends of the 72 countries we track, and neither ever came close to the other's territory. Bulgaria's worst day, in terms of instability, was 20 per cent. Brazil's calmest was 79 per cent, and on 15 August it hit 100 per cent — fifty entries, fifty replacements. Put differently, Brazil's quietest day was still four times more turbulent than Bulgaria's most agitated one. The comparison is worth making in detail, because the two charts also look completely different once you read what is in them.

The number one in Sofia today was published 82 hours ago and charts in no other country. In a market that discards 14 per cent of its list per night, a video that reaches the top has several days to be seen there. The Bulgarian median entry is 116 hours old, the second-highest figure among the 72 countries. A chart read on Friday still describes Monday.

The Brazilian number one is a live audio recording published 20 hours before the snapshot, with 36,882 views, present in no other chart. The Brazilian median entry is 22 hours old. First place in São Paulo is a position held overnight; the same rank in Sofia is held for the better part of a week. The two numbers describe entirely different achievements.

The oldest video in the Bulgarian chart has been online for 27 days and holds 16th place. Nine countries still carry it, and eight of them belong to the slowest quarter of our panel. Bulgaria also recorded a 28-day run for this trailer, one of the longest of the period. Longevity here is not exceptional; it is the normal behaviour of the list.

Second place in Brazil is a trailer breakdown published 32 hours ago. The oldest entry in the whole Brazilian top 50 dates back 25 days, which sounds comparable to Bulgaria — but the longest continuous run we recorded in Brazil across 25 days is three days. Old videos can appear in Brazil; they simply cannot stay. That distinction is invisible in any single-day snapshot.

Third place, a gaming video published nine hours before the snapshot, appears in no other country — like 41 of the 48 Brazilian entries. Brazil combines maximum speed with strong local exclusivity, which is the rarer of the two combinations. Most fast markets, such as Colombia at 72 per cent turnover, import almost everything they show: only 6 per cent of the Colombian chart is exclusive to it.

This trailer, published on 15 August, is in both charts today. In Bulgaria it can reasonably be expected to stay several weeks; the Clayface trailer above it has managed 27 days. In Brazil, where the longest run recorded over 25 days is three days, it will be gone by the weekend. Identical distribution, identical launch, opposite outcomes — decided entirely by which chart it landed in.

The instinctive reading of a turnover gap is that Brazilians are more fickle than Bulgarians. The data does not support that. What separates the two charts is the volume of new video published each day in each market, and everything else follows: Brazil's median entry is 22 hours old because Brazil produces enough new content every morning to fill fifty places; Bulgaria's is 116 hours old because it does not. The practical lesson is that days on chart is not a comparable unit across borders. Three days in Brazil represents survival against a complete daily reset; three days in Bulgaria means the video has barely been noticed yet. Any ranking that mixes both without adjustment tells you where a video was published, not how well it did.
